I tell the stories I see in the world and the ones that pound on the walls of my head to be let out. I write fiction – usually speculative or literary, and non-fiction – usually about art, religion, or social justice.

a little backstory: I’m a Florida native, and while I’ll always have a thing for alligators and Miami sunsets, I’ve also made homes and found roots in Alaska, New York City, and Brazil. A few years ago, I moved from São Paulo to Portland, Oregon. When I’m not writing, I’m probably buying books at Powell’s or adventuring in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and our very fluffy dog.
