I tell the stories I see in the world and the ones I create in my head. I write fiction – usually speculative or literary and non-fiction – usually about art, religion, or social justice.

a little backstory: I’m a Florida native, and while I’ll always have a thing for humidity, alligators, and Miami sunsets, I’ve also made homes and found roots in Alaska, New York City, and Brazil. I currently live just outside of São Paulo with my husband and a lot of houseplants. I love food and traveling. When I’m not thinking about my next story, I’m probably dreaming up my next adventure or at least my next meal.
